Our history, a family tradition.
The story of the Hotel Miramare began in 1927, when Nonna Adina , with great foresight, decided to build a small hotel in a part of Italy that was not popular with tourists at the time, on the outskirts of the village. Thanks to her tireless work and the help of her children, she soon managed to make the hotel well-known and attracted a clientele of nobles who came to the Maremma to hunt.
She added a second floor to the hotel and her son Aldo married Linda, the daughter of bakers, who turned out to be an excellent cook.
In the 1960s, their sons, Renzo and Ado, undertook a major renovation and added the third floor.
Ado's wife, Enrica, was also a skilled cook and the reputation of the restaurant grew, and became one of the hotel's major attractions.
Today, their daughter Donatella, with her husband Paolo, are passionately dedicated to continuing the hotel's dedication to hospitality, and are preparing their children to be the fifth generation of hoteliers in Castiglione.
Together with our selected providers, we are committed to ensuring that our services are accessible to people with disabilities. We devote significant resources to ensure that our website and room booking pages are easier to use and more accessible for individuals with disabilities, based on the strong belief that everyone has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.
Along with our partners, we continuously strive to improve the accessibility of our website and the pages for booking rooms and/or purchasing additional products and services related to the stay. We firmly believe it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible, and unhindered use, even for those of us with disabilities.

Despite our efforts to make all our web pages and content fully accessible, some content may not yet have been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be due to not having yet found or implemented the most appropriate technological solution.
